30-minute TV program first run in Madison, WI on the evening of  Dec. 7, 2003.

The program features a biographical piece about Governor Dean, including his experiences as a family physician and as governor of Vermont.  The program also features interviews with supporters of the Dean campaign discussing issues of importance to them and how Dean’s message of hope and opportunity will allow Americans to take back their country from special interests in Washington.

 

 
Notes and Observations:  According to the Dec. 5, 2003 press release announcing the program, it "will serve as a
 model for possible future media buys in states around the country."  A Dec. 13 press release termed the pilot project a success and said the program would "run in Albuquerque on KWBQ (WB) on Saturday from 6 - 6:30 p.m.; in Des Moines on WOI (ABC) from 5 - 5:30 p.m.; and in Madison WKOW (ABC) from 5:30 - 6 p.m.  Tomorrow, on Sunday, the program will run in Cedar Rapids KWWL (NBC) from Noon to 12:30 p.m. on KWWL (NBC)."
