Kerry-Edwards 2004, Inc.

"Economy Kick Start"
30-second ad announced Oct. 24, 2004.

John Kerry: Our economy needs a kick start.

Beginning with jobs for America's middle class, jobs that pay more with secure and affordable healthcare.

New manufacturing jobs by giving tax breaks for companies that create jobs here.

And good, high tech jobs by growing new industries to be independent of Middle East oil.

The president is satisfied with an economy of lower paying jobs.  I'm not.  I believe America can do better.

I'm John Kerry and I approved this message.

Notes and Observations:  According to the Oct. 24 press release this is one of three ads used to close the ad campaign:
The campaign will put over $10 million behind the ads, titled "All Across America," "Never," and "Economy Kick Start."  While some state specific ads will remain on the air, the ads will make up the vast majority of the Kerry-Edwards rotation in battleground states.
The release also notes:
In stark contrast to the closing ad of the Bush-Cheney campaign which features a pack of wolves, but not the president, the three Kerry television spots show John Kerry talking directly to camera, speaking about his commitment to defend America and fight for the middle class.
