que a George Bush no le importa mucho la nuestra. Desde que llegó a la Casa Blanca, millones de sus supuestos amigos viven con la angustia de no tener seguro médico y encima de eso los precios de las medicinas se fueron hasta por las nubes. El pudo habernos demostrado su amistad el año pasado, cuando tuvo la oportunidad de reducir los precios de las medicinas. Pero no quiso. En cambio, favoreció a sus verdaderos amigos: las compañías farmaceúticas y de seguros. No necesitamos a un dizque “amigo” en la Casa Blanca. Necesitamos un presidente que se preocupe y haga algo por nuestra salud. Y ése es John Kerry. John Kerry se ha comprometido a fortalecer Medicare, a reducir el costo de las medicinas y a ofrecer seguro médico universal, sí, eso te incluye a ti. Ahora, todo depende de nosotros. Observations: Translation... George Bush has called himself an “amigo” of the Latinos. A friend cares about our health, right? Well it looks like Bush doesn’t care much about ours. Since he arrived at the White House, millions of his so-so “friends” live under anguish because they don’t have health insurance, and on top of that, the price of prescription drugs had ski rocketed. As a matter of fact, last year he had the opportunity to show us his friendship, but instead of fighting to reduce the cost of the prescription drugs, he decided to favor his real friends: the drug and insurance companies. We don’t need a (false) “friend” in the White House, we need a president, someone that really cares and does something about our health, And that’s John Kerry. John Kerry is committed to a strong Medicare, reducing the cost of prescription drugs and offering universal health insurance for all, yes, that includes you my friend. But this… will be up to us.
