Bush Volunteer action center to track personal progress in helping re-elect
the President. Bush Volunteers used a personal action
center with action tools and the ability to track their personal progress
to see how many Volunteers they recruited; how many people signed up to
our email list because of their efforts; how many people they encouraged
to register to vote; which talk shows and news editors they contacted;
and how many voters they contacted through our Neighbor to Neighbor and
Peer to Peer efforts.

person, using the Virtual Precinct voter contact tools.

Get Out the Vote Metrics

GOTV emails with a map and driving directions to polling locations.
A week before and on Election Day, Bush-Cheney online supporters in
target states received an email containing the location of their polling
place, a map, driving directions, driving distance and the time it would
take to get to their polling place. More than 750,000 messages
were delivered.
Blog Metrics

News feeds being used by over 5,000 grassroots supporters.
Over 5,000 supporter Web sites and blogs take the GeorgeWBush.com news
feeds. These news feeds are viewed at least one million times each
week.
Every time our Web site
is updated these 5,000 blogs and Web sites are updated. Supporters
go to our Web site and copy basically a link to our Web site. When they
paste that link onto their blog or Web site our news feeds appear.

BlogsforBush.com brings supportive blogs together. Over 600
grassroots bloggers – on their own initiative –created the “Blogs for Bush”
site.
Finance Total
More than 19 million dollars was raised online for the Bush-Cheney 04 Primary
account, General Election Legal and Compliance Account, and the Republican
National Committee.
