Elected January 23, 2002.  Started his political activity with the Lugar campaigns in the 1970s.  Chairman and CEO of Kittle's Furniture Group since 1979; followed his father into the furniture business in 1969.  Graduate of Indiana University and the Indiana University School of Law.  Lifelong Hoosier.

Dan Burton and David McIntosh on the House Government Reform Subcommittee on Energy Policy, Natural Resources, and Regulatory Affairs. Press secretary to Rep. Ed Bryant; legal counsel for Rep. Jim Duncan.  Campaign manager for Virginia Blankenbaker’s campaign for Congress in 1998; political consultant with Russo Marsh, Inc..  Has worked as a lawyer with the Indianapolis law firms of Barnes & Thornburg and Johnson Smith and as Associate Counsel for Koch Industries, Inc.  J.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Law and B.S. from Wabash College.  Sixth generation Hoosier.  Resident of Shelbyville.

Came to the party after 13 years in radio and TV, during which he won two Emmy Awards  Most recently executive producer at WGCL-TV the CBS affiliate in Atlanta.  Worked four years in the mid-1990s at WRTV-TV, the ABC affiliate in Indianapolis.  Graduate of Ball State University.  Grew up in Fort Wayne.
