for U.S. Senate in 1978 but died in a plane crash.

director of the Ohio Republican Party starting in late 2000. He served
as regional field director for the Ohio Republican Party from 1997-2000;
and started at the party in 1996 as assistant to the political director.
Also in 1996 he was one of five national co-directors of the youth campaign
for Dole/Kemp. From Bowling Green.

consultant in the law firm of Reed Smith. He served Gov. James Gilmore
as liaison for House relations and was deputy director of the Governor's
Blue Ribbon Commission on Higher Education. Smith graduated from
the College of William and Mary with a B.A. in government and sociology.
