(former EPA Administrator Governor Christie Todd Whitman, Washington State Senator Daniel Swecker and Washington House Minority Leader Richard DeBolt announced in Lacey on April 29, 2004) Smith is founding partner and president of the Gallatin Group and heads the Seattle office of the public affairs, government relations and strategic communications consulting firm. Jirsa is director of corporate and environmental affairs for Plum Creek Timber Co. -Bush-Cheney '04 Washington Farm & Ranch Leadership Team - Co-chairs are Brenda Alford and Mike Poulson. (announced in Wapato on April 13, 2004) Alford is from Alford Farms, Inc. of Pasco and Poulson is a farmer and consultant from Connell. -Sportsmen for Bush - Ed Owens. Owens is executive director of the Coalition of Coastal Fisheries, which represents commercial fishing fleets. In 2000 he chaired Citizens for Responsible Wildlife Management, the group that opposed I-713, the ballot measure banning trapping. -Hispanics/Viva Bush - Pedro Celis. Celis is a software architect in the SQL Server group in Microsoft. Chairman of the Washington State Chapter of the Republican National Hispanic Assembly, which he helped found in 2001. Member of the President’s Information Technology Advisory Committee, nominated by President Bush in 2003. Moved to Washington State from Texas in 1998 and resides in Redmond. Born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico. -W Stands for Women - Sarah Rindlaub and Jean Dunbabbin. Rindlaub is a board member of Washington Policy Center, a free-market think tank in Seattle. She worked for 16 years in the airline industry. -Asian-Americans for Bush - Clayton Fong. Fong is executive director of the National Asian Pacific Center on Aging (NAPCA), headquartered in Seattle. He held a number of senior management positions at the White House in the Administration of President George H.W. Bush and with California Gov. George Deukmejian.
