An Open Letter to the Democratic Caucus

Dear Colleague:

General Wesley Clark has committed himself to a lifetime of public service.

For 34 years, General Clark served this country as an officer in the U.S. Army where he held numerous staff and command positions, rising to the rank of four-star general.  From 1997 through 2000, General Clark was NATO Supreme Allied Commander and Commander in Chief of the United States European Command.

General Clark graduated first in his class from the United States Military Academy at West Point.  He holds a Master's Degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Oxford University where he was a Rhodes Scholar.  General Clark is a recipient of numerous U.S. and foreign military awards including the Silver Star, two Bronze Stars, and a Purple Heart, dating back to his experience fighting in Vietnam.  In 2000, General Clark was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation's highest civilian honor.

Clearly, General Clark has distinguished himself throughout his career, and he has committed himself to a lifetime of public service.  He now wants to continue serving as the next President of the United States.

General Wesley Clark sees his Presidential campaign not as an ambition, but as a duty.  He knows that the tough questions this country is confronted with demand real solutions.

We the undersigned strongly believe General Clark is the best choice for the Democratic Party and for America, and we encourage you to endorse his candidacy for President of the United States.  We need a candidate who can lead our country to times of prosperity and security...and we think General Clark is that candidate!

Please come meet General Clark (Members Only) so that he can share directly with you his vision for the future:
