Michigan State Director Dana Houle
A Michigan native who resides in Ann Arbor, Houle has extensive Michigan campaign experience.  Most recently, he managed the statewide races of Gary Peters for Attorney General and Judge Edward Thomas for Supreme Court.  Houle's experience also includes extensive field work for both state and federal campaigns in Michigan, as well as work for the AFL-CIO.
 
 
Field Director George Kivork
In Michigan, Kivork was a field manager for the AFL-CIO, coordinating their statewide get out the vote program during the 2002 primary.  He has campaign field experience ranging from City Council races to statewide gubernatorial contests.
 
 
Press Secretary Jonathan Beeton
Beeton grew up in Ann Arbor, earned his B.S. from Albion College, and considers Michigan to be home.  After college he worked in Grand Rapids for the Michigan Democratic Party as their West Michigan press secretary during the 1996 election cycle.  He moved to Washington, DC and served in the Clinton Administration, working at the Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Labor.  In 2000 Beeton served as the Gore/Lieberman press secretary in Kentucky.  Most recently, he served as a press secretary in the U.S. House of Representatives.
 
 
African American Outreach Director Keith Wilson
Wilson was a founder and Managing Director of The PotterConally Consultancy, an Atlanta based public affairs and corporate-responsibility firm.  He served as Director of Corporate Alliances and Strategic Marketing for Dell Computer Corporation.  During the Clinton Administration he served as Special Assistant to the Assistant Secretary for Legislation at the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Special Assistant to the CEO and Deputy Director of Public Information at Fannie Mae, and Special Assistant to the Assistant to the President for Political Affairs in the Clinton White House.
 
 
Arab and Muslim Outreach Director Hiam Nawas
Nawas moved from Fayetteville, Arkansas where she earned her MBA from the Sam Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas; she has a background in business valuation and litigation support for privately owned companies.
