Daschle Press Conference, January 7, 2003

"My Passion is Right Here"


	January 7, 2003. The purpose of this press conference was to introduce the new Democratic leadership team and a package of 12 bills promoted by the Democratic leadership. However, earlier in the day Daschle issued a statement announcing that he would not run for president in 2004; many of the questions from the large crowd of assembled reporters focused on that decision.
