On May 30, 2002, Dean mailed the FEC papers establishing Dean for America,
a presidential campaign committee. Dean for America is headquartered
in Burlington, Vermont. Joe Trippi is national campaign manager.

On December 18, 2003 a group of 14 Delawareans for Dean presented petitions
signed by 772 fellow citizens to the State Election Commissioner, placing
