Dean for America  
On May 30, 2002, Dean mailed the FEC papers establishing Dean for America, a presidential campaign committee.  Dean for America is headquartered in Burlington, Vermont.  Joe Trippi is national campaign manager.

Dean for America New Jersey Leadership


On December 19, 2003 Gov. James McGreevey became the first governor to endorse a non-home state candidate in the 2004 Democratic nominating campaign.  Over fifty state and local officials joined him in Trenton for the event.
