Jim Dyke, RNC Communications Director:
"The president was very concise and firm in his conviction [s?].  I think that Sen. Kerry was unable to defend his 20-year Senate record and I think that that significantly challenges his credibility.  I think when you talk about limiting the war on terror to a hunt for Osama bin Laden it represents a fundamental misunderstanding of the war that we're fighting today...  The President's ability to explain clearly his policies and what they're doing and Sen. Kerry's inability to explain his 20-year career and the evolution of the positions he's taking based on political opporunity make it a clear win win for President Bush."
