Salem, NH--May 24, 2003.  Sen. Edwards met with activists from the southern tier communities in the club house at the Victorian Park Family Entertainment Center in Salem.  This was the second day of his eighth trip to New Hampshire (fifth trip in 2003).  Seated behind the NHPR reporter is Phil Wellner, chair of the Derry Democratic Committee and vice chair of the New Hampshire Young Democrats, who was one of the first announced New Hampshire supporters of Edwards, back in January.  In the background, standing, is Michael Palamuso, the campaign's Manchester field coordinator.  Sen.
