Edwards Picks Up New Support In New Hampshire

                             34 Grassroots Activists Announce Endorsement

CONCORD, NH - On the heels of a trip that brought Sen. John Edwards (D-NC) from Hanover to
Hampton this weekend, thirty four grassroots activists and community leaders from around the
state announced their endorsements, joining a growing list of New Hampshire supporters.

"John Edwards is our party's best chance of beating George W. Bush in 2004, it's that simple.
And he's the best person to lead our country," said Jon Bresler, a member of the NH
Democratic Executive Committee and Vice President of the Board of Trustees at Temple Beth
Jacob.  "John Edwards knows how to win with a progressive message in a conservative state,
because he's done it before -- and he's the only one running who has."

"This is what New Hampshire is all about - meeting with voters and grassroots activists and
winning their support face-to-face," said Edwards' NH state director Caroline McCarley.  "We're
thrilled that activists and community leaders from around the state are choosing John Edwards
and are already working hard to bring their friends, neighbors, and other members of their
community on board with the campaign."

In the days before the trip, Edwards also received the endorsements of Rep. Sharon Nordgren,
