State Director Robert Johnson
(announced Feb. 23, 2004)  Founder and member of Capitol Strategies, LLC and has been involved in grassroots political organizing and event management since 1982. Johnson began his career in Colorado with Congressman Tim Wirth.  He has worked on the presidential campaigns of Sen. Gary Hart, Mondale/Ferraro, Sen. Paul Simon, Sen. Al Gore, Rev. Jesse Jackson, Dukakis/Bentsen, Sen. Bob Kerrey and Clinton/Gore. Johnson most recently served as executive director of the Maryland Democratic Party. 
 
 
Field Director Jorna Taylor
(announced Feb. 23, 2004)  Prior to arriving in Maryland, Taylor served as Edwards' Oklahoma political director, before moving on to Wisconsin in the same role.  She served as finance director on Wisconsin Lt. Gov. Barbara Lawton's successful 2002 primary race and worked for Wisconsin Gov. Jim Doyle's successful 2002 general election.  Taylor previously served as outreach director for the Wisconsin Democratic Party and as a health care field organizer for the American Federation of Teachers. 
 
 
Trip Director Stephanie Foster
(announced Feb. 23, 2004)  Also serves the Edwards for President national team as an advisor on women's and environmental issues among others.  Her experience in Maryland includes serving as U.S. Sen. Barbara Mikulski's chief of staff. 
 
 
Regional Field Coordinator Rick Fromberg
(announced Feb. 23, 2004)  Previously on the Edwards campaign in Northern Virginia. Fromberg also ran state house campaigns in Fairfax County, Virginia and served on Capitol Hill for United States Rep. Steve Rothman (D-NJ). 
 
 
Volunteer Coordinator Julie Greene
(announced Feb. 23, 2004) Previously served on the Edwards staff as a field coordinator in Virginia.
