Washington, DC--April 24, 2002. After a meeting of the House Democratic Caucus, Rep. Gephardt and others in the House Democratic leadership announced that the party will present its agenda to the American people under the heading "Securing America's future for all of our families."  "Americans want to be secure against terrorism, but they believe security means more than just a defense effort against terrorism.  We need security here at home in pensions and health care, education and the environment," Gephardt stated.  "We're going to form teams with our friends in the Senate and we're going to deliver this message about our agenda on a daily basis," he said.
