Gephardt visited NH on the morning and early afternoon of January 9, 2004.  He visited voters over breakfast at Golden Egg restaurant in Portsmouth; did a countdown to victory at Great Falls Grill in Somersworth; did a countdown to victory at Pleasant View Retirement Community in Concord; and visited voters over lunch at Blake's Restaurant in Manchester.  (He then headed to Iowa).
 

-Chrissy Gephardt visited NH on January 3-4, 2003
On January 3 she met voters at Manchester diners Belmont Hall, Red Arrow, Julien's Corner Kitchen, Pappy's, and Chez Vachon; and joined supporters for door-to-door canvass starting at Gephardt for President Berlin headquarters.
On January 4 she met voters in downtown Portsmouth starting at Gephardt Portsmouth headquarters; brunched with supporters at Great Falls Grill in Somersworth and then joined them for a door-to-door canvass; and addressed senior citizen voters at Central Towers Senior Center in Dover.

-Rep. Gephardt visited NH on December 30, 2003.  Starting early in the morning he met local voters in downtown Concord coffee shops Bagel Works, Caffenio and Eagle Square Deli; held a roundtable on issues for working women at Blackbird Books & Café in Concord; and participated in a roundtable on jobs with Jac Pac workers at Hesser College in Manchester.
 

-Chrissy Gephardt visited NH on December 22-23, 2003.
On December 22 she toured Meals on Wheels at Ingram Senior Center in Salem; met senior citizens at
 Birchwood Nursing Home in Derry; and attended a coffee reception with supporters at 19R Juniper Road in Derry.
 On December 23 she toured Meals on Wheels at Carpenter Center in Manchester; spoke to students at
 Central High School in  Manchester; and held a roundtable discussion with New Beginnings panel in Laconia.
 

-Matt Gephardt visited NH on December 21-23, 2003
Early on the evening of December 21 he hosted a holiday party for local voters and supporters at the Gephardt Nashua office.
On December 22 he met voters in downtown Claremont with Democratic Leader Peter Burling and former State Senator George Disnard, then spoke to senior citizen voters and employees at the Bourdon Center; toured Benson Woodworking with guide David Raabe in Walpole; met voters at Colony Mill with Democratic Leader Peter Burling  in Keene; celebrated the holidays with local Democrats at the Gephardt Portsmouth office; and met local voters at Fox Run Mall in Newington.
On December 23 he met voters while campaigning in downtown Portsmouth starting at the Gephardt Portsmouth office; toured Crossroads House in Portsmouth; and served lunch to senior citizens at Waldron Towers in Dover.
 

-Rep. Gephardt visited NH on December 20, 2003.  He met voters at a town hall meeting at New Hope Baptist Church in Portsmouth; thanked supporters at a Strafford County canvass kickoff at the Rochester Community Center in Rochester; delivered a "major policy address" at New England College in Henniker; and met voters at a town hall meeting at MacNeil's (on 2nd Street) in Manchester.
 

-Rep. Gephardt visited NH on December 9-10, 2003.  Starting late on the afternoon of December 9 he and wife Jane went shopping for a Families in Transition adopted family at City and Country in Portsmouth; he participated in the debate at UNH in Durham; and he greeted supporters at a post-debate party at Libby's Bar and Grill in Durham.  On the morning of December 10 he held a town hall meeting at N.H. Technical College in Berlin.
 

-Jane Gephardt visited NH on December 8-9, 2003.  Starting at mid-day on December 8 she greeted senior citizens at Lebanon Senior Center in Lebanon; addressed senior citizens at Maplewood Assisted Living Center in Westmoreland; and attended a Women for Gephardt house party hosted by Clair Helfman in Hollis.  On December 9 she addressed senior citizens at Ledges Senior Center in Wolfeboro; held a roundtable discussion with health care workers at Community Health and Hospice, Inc. in Laconia; and joined her husband holiday shopping for a Families In Transition adopted family starting at Breaking New Grounds Café in Portsmouth.
 

-Gephardt's daughter Chrissy visited NH on December 4-5, 2003.  On December 4 she addressed students at John Stark High School in Weare; addressed students at West High School in Manchester; addressed students at Pembroke Academy in Pembroke; addressed the Plymouth State Alternative Lifestyle Organization (ALSO) in the Hartman Union Building in Plymouth; and attended a Women for Gephardt house party hosted by Kate Miller in New Hampton.  On December 5 she addressed students at Kennett High School in Conway; did retail campaigning at Tea Birds Restaurant in Berlin; addressed senior citizens at Coos County Senior Home in Berlin; and attended Light up Durham events at Memorial Park in Durham. 
 

-Rep. Gephardt visited NH on November 18, 2003.  He participated in an economic roundtable with local workers at the Rochester College of Lifelong Learning; and participated in the AARP forum at Wayfarer Inn in Bedford.
 

-Gephardt's daughter Chrissy visited NH on November 11-12, 2003.  On November 11 she addressed LGBT students and supporters at Dartmouth College in Hanover.  On November 12 she addressed students at Winnacunnet High School in Hampton; and at New Hampshire Community Technical College in Stratham, before proceeding to Massachusetts. 
 

-Rep. Gephardt visited NH on November 3, 2003.  He addressed seniors at Langdon Place Senior Center in Exeter; addressed the Every Child Matters Forum at Huddleston Hall at UNH in Durham; address supporters and local voters at Green Street Community Theater in Concord; at 12:45 p.m. became the first major candidate to file to run in the Democratic primary at Department of State's office in the Statehouse building in Concord; and joined Nashua Democratic mayoral candidate Steve Bolton and campaigned with him downtown on Main St in Nashua.  [He then headed to events in Mass.] 
 

-Gephardt's daughter Chrissy visited NH on October 22-25, 2003.
Starting on the afternoon of October 22 she addressed seniors in Government/Law class at West High School in Manchester; addressed a class studying gender and hate crimes at St. Anselm College in Manchester; and spoke at the Kingswood Regional High School Candidate Forum in Wolfeboro.
On October 23 she toured Androscoggin Valley Home Care Services in Berlin; addressed students at New Hampshire Community Technical College in Berlin; addressed students studying social work at Plymouth State College in Plymouth; did meet and greet at New England College in Henniker; joined Students for Gephardt pumpkin carving at campaign headquarters in Manchester; and attended New Hampshire Democrats Jefferson Jackson Day Dinner at Holiday Inn in Manchester. 
On October 24 she spoke at the Somersworth High School Presidential Campaign Forum in Somersworth; met members of the Alpha Xi Delta Sorority in Durham; met members of the UNH Alliance at Memorial Union Building in Durham; met with Rochester Odyssey House staff and residents in Rochester; addressed Dover High School Gay Student Alliance in Dover; and attended the Main Street Concord Halloween Howl in downtown Concord.
On October 25 she went to soccer fields in Merrimack and met parents and attended the Keene Pumpkin Festival at Central Square in Keene.
 

-Jane Gephardt visited NH on October 18-19, 2003.  On October 18 she met senior citizens at Pariseau Senior High Rise in Manchester; met senior citizens at Heritage Heights in Concord; and met senior citizens at Kendal at Hanover Retirement Community in Hanover.  On October 19 she attended Services at Middle St. Baptist Church in Portsmouth; attended house party hosted by Anita Freedman in Portsmouth; and met voters and toured the orchard at Mac's Apples in Londonderry.
 

-Gephardt's daughter Chrissy visited NH on October 8-9, 2003.  On October 8, after arriving late because of a fog delay, she appeared at Saint Anselm College in Manchester; met with the Phillips Exeter Academy Gay/Straight Alliance in Exeter; addressed students studying social work at UNH in Durham; and attended a house party hosted by Dr. Vincent Greco in Pembroke.  On October 9 she did meet and greet with students at Dartmouth College; and met voters at Wheelock Terrace senior center in Hanover.
 

-Rep. Gephardt visited NH on September 28-29, 2003.  On September 28 he addressed seniors and local voters at Robert F. Shaw Community Hall in Manchester; attended a house party hosted by Bev Hollingworth and Bill Gilligan in Hampton; and attended house party hosted by Bruce and Ann May in Rochester.  On September 29 he addressed seniors and local voters at Arel Manor Community in Nashua.
 

-Gephardt's daughter Chrissy visited NH on September 18, 2003.  (She had planned to address the NARAL-NH Recipes for Choice Presidential Forum in Manchester on the evening of September 17 but missed her flight).  On September 18 she met with Million Mom March organizers in Manchester; addressed seniors at O'Malley Senior Complex in Manchester; met voters at an  AARP forum at Plymouth Regional Senior Center in Plymouth; went to the kickoff of the Highland Games in Hopkinton; and attended Marcie Zingo and Beth Bellevue's house party in Derry. 
 

-Gephardt's son Matt visited NH on September 13-14, 2003.  On September 13 he greeted Gephardt volunteer canvassers and open the Portsmouth office at 37 Vaugh Mall; canvassed a local neighborhood in Dover; and attended the Glendi Greek Festival at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Manchester.  On September 14 he greeted Gephardt volunteer canvassers and opened the Concord office at 40 North Main St.; and attended a Hampton Democrats picnic at Pitlochry Farm in Hampton Falls. 
 

-Rep. Gephardt visited NH on September 1-2, 2003.  On September 1 he spoke at the New Hampshire AFL-CIO Labor Day breakfast at Chateau Restaurant in Manchester; participated in an economic roundtable at the campaign's office on Water Street in Nashua; marched in the Milford Labor Day parade in Milford; met voters at the New Hampshire for Health Care/SEIU picnic at Veterans Park in Manchester; and attended a house party hosted by John Kacavas in Manchester.  On September 2 he greeted Manchester teachers attending orientation at Memorial High School in Manchester; and spoke at "Politics and Eggs" at the Bedford Village Inn in Bedford.
 

-Rep. Gephardt visited NH on August 24, 2003.  He began with a couple of diner visits in Manchester--Belmont Hall and Restaurant on Grove Street and Julien's Corner on Bridge Street; met voters at Assumption Greek Church Festival in Manchester; met local voters at the “Race Against Leukemia” at New Hampshire International Speedway in Loudon; attended the International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers' Lobster Bake at Portsmouth Naval Yard; and attended a barbecue for supporters and local voters at Bob and Pat Demers' Hob Nob Farm in Dover. (Gephardt overnighted in NH and left early the next morning for Chicago).
 

-Gephardt's daughter Chrissy visited NH on August 15-16, 2003.   On August 15 she participated in a roundtable discussion on the economy and housing at Families in Transition in Manchester.  On August 16 she met voters at the Old Home Days Festival in Hudson; met voters at the Latino Festival at Veteran’s Park in Manchester; represented the Gephardt Campaign at the Merrimack County Democrats Pig Roast in Bow; met voters at Family Fun Day in Rollinsford; and did meet and greet before the Ani DiFranco concert at Meadowbrook Arts Center in Gilford.
 

-Rep. Gephardt visited NH on August 8-11, 2003.  On August 8 he participated in a roundtable on the economy with local workers and business owners at Old Ferry Landing in Portsmouth; participated in another roundtable at Joe King's Shoes in Concord; met with SEIU NH leadership at the State Employees Association office in Concord; and did meet and greet with local Democrats at Claremont Elks Lodge in Claremont.  Gephardt overnighted in NH.  On August 9 he did a Teamsters endorsement tour, rallying in Detroit, MI and Des Moines, IA, before returning to Manchester, NH for a Teamsters endorsement rally and multi-union barbecue with Teamsters General President James P. Hoffa and rank and file members at JFK Coliseum in Manchester in the early evening.  On August 10 and 11 in Portsmouth he filmed scenes for television advertising as well as doing some in-state interviews and informally meeting with voters.

On July 19 he attended a house party hosted by Doug and Katie Wheeler in Durham; participated in a roundtable on health care and the local economy hosted by Rick Wilcox, International Mountain Equipment, Inc., in North Conway; toured Art in the Park exhibits at Schouler Park in North Conway; attended a house party hosted by Bob and Marie Hughes in Berlin; and attended a house party hosted by Marge and Tim Kerns in Laconia. 
On July 20 he started the day with three diner visits in Manchester: Merrimack Restaurant, Chez Vachon, and Hillview Restaurant; then attended a house party hosted by Maureen and Tom Nagle; he attended a house party hosted by Grace and Chris Reisdorf in Derry; hosted a picnic at Nashua Pride Holman Stadium in Nashua, then threw out the first pitch at the Nashua Pride vs. Pennsylvania Roadwarriors baseball game.

Gephardt visited NH on July 3, 2003.  He participated in a live interview on NHPR's "The Exchange" in NHPR studios in Concord; held a press conference to discuss the Corporate Subsidy Reform Commission Act at New Hampshire State Political Library in Concord; toured the Moffatt-Ladd house in Portsmouth; and attended a house party at Oar House Restaurant in Portsmouth.
 

-Gephardt's son Matt Gephardt visited NH on June 28, 2003.   He attend the Nashua Relay for Life (American Cancer Society) at Pennichuck Junior High School; visited with voters at Lindy’s Diner in Keene; attended the grand opening of the campaign's New Hampshire office on Elm Street in Manchester; and attended a house party hosted by Deb Crapo in Rye.
 

-Rep. Gephardt visited NH on June 13, 2003.  He attended a health care roundtable with teachers and school board officials at Parkside Middle School in Manchester; taped WMUR’s “Conversation with the Candidate” in Manchester; attended a health care roundtable with city officials and firefighters at Portsmouth Fire Station #1 in Portsmouth; and attended a town hall meeting at Fisher Scientific International, Inc. in Hampton.
 

From a June 10, 2003 Press Release: "Rep. Dick Gephardt announced today that he has agreed to a bet with New Hampshire House Democratic Leader Peter Burling on the three-game interleague series between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Boston Red Sox, which begins tonight at Fenway Park. If the Red Sox win the series Gephardt owes Burling and the New Hampshire House Democratic Caucus bags of Gus's pretzels and a case of custard, and if the Cardinals are victorious Burling owes Gephardt a New Hampshire lobster dinner."

-Rep. Gephardt visited NH on April 13-14, 2003.  Starting in the early afternoon on April 13 he attended a house party hosted by Sen. Lou D'Allesandro in Manchester; attended a house party hosted by Rep. Terie Norelli in Portsmouth; and attended a house party hosted by Democratic State Committee Member Jennifer Brown in Dover.  Starting early in the morning of April 14 he attended a house party hosted by School Board Member Edward Philpot in Laconia; in the afternoon he participated in a roundtable discussion with business owners and health care employees at GT Equipment Technologies in Nashua; and attended a house party in Nashua hosted by former State Sen. Deborah Pignatelli and her husband Mike.
 

-Rep. Gephardt visited NH on the afternoon and evening of March 15, 2003.  He attended a house party hosted by Ed and Leslee Stewart in Manchester (Leslee is vice chair of the Manchester School Board); did an event highlighting his health care plan at D McLeod Florist in Concord; attended a house party hosted by Katherine Rogers and Michael Bartlett in Concord (Katherine is a Merrimack County Commissioner and Concord City Council member); attended a house party hosted by Peter and Carol Blaisdell in Keene; and attended a house party hosted by House Democratic Leader Peter Burling in Cornish. 
 

-Rep. Gephardt visited NH on February 20, 2003, the second day of his announcement tour.  (He arrived in NH from Iowa late on the night of February 19).  He spoke at a reception at St. Anselm College in Goffstown and toured and did a health care roundtable at Keystone Press, Inc. in Manchester.
 

-Rep. Gephardt visited NH on January 25-26, 2003.  On January 25 he spoke to New Hampshire State Democratic Committee members at the party's meeting at Conant School in Concord and attended a Superbowl eve/62nd birthday party at T.R. Brennan's restaurant in Manchester.  On January 26 he did various private meetings.

-Rep. Gephardt visited NH on October 26, 2002.  He rallied at Democratic headquarters in Concord; spoke at the 62nd annual SEIU convention at the Waterville Valley Conference Center and Resort in Waterville Valley; met with local residents in Conway; and spoke at the Coos County Democrats' Truman Dinner at the Town & Country Restaurant in Shelburne (Gorham).
 

-Rep. Gephardt visited NH on September 16-17, 2002.   On September 16 he campaigned with state Senate candidate Maggie Wood Hassan (District 23), walking through downtown Exeter and speaking at a luncheon at the American Independence Museum in Exeter; went to Rochester for a "Standing Up For New Hampshire Families"event with Martha Fuller Clark at the Rochester Community Center; visited with local leaders in Manchester; and stopped in at the coordinated campaign office in Manchester.  On September 17, he campaigned with state Sen. George Disnard (District 8) in Claremont; attended a reception for state Senate candidate Joe Foster (District 13) at the Hamblett and Kerrigan law firm in Nashua; and did a Social Security forum with Katrina Swett at Aynsley Place in Nashua.
 

-Rep. Gephardt visited NH on May 6-7, 2002.  On May 6 in Portsmouth he met with Martha Fuller Clark and local seniors at Parrott Avenue Place Senior Citizen Center; in Concord he walked to and helped open the Katrina Swett for Congress headquarters; in Hanover he met with students at Dartmouth College; in Lebanon he participated in a fundraiser for Upper Valley Democrats; in Keene he participated in a fundraiser for Cheshire County Democrats.  On May 7 in Nashua he did a breakfast with Nashua Democrats at the Nashua Country Club; finally, in Manchester he delivered the keynote speech at the Professional Firefighters of New Hampshire Convention.
 

-Rep. Gephardt visited NH on March 8, 2002; he did a breakfast fundraiser with Executive Council candidate John Kacavas at Devine, Millimet & Branch in Manchester and a jersey-swapping with House Dem. Leader Peter Burling at the Legislative Office Building in Concord (following on a bet they made over the Super Bowl).
 

2001: 2 visits, 3 days
-Rep. Gephardt visited NH on December 15, 2001; his schedule included events with 1st district congressional candidate Martha Fuller Clark: a brunch at the home of Harlow and Barbara Carpenter in Kensington (SE Rockingham County), a walk-around in Portsmouth, a meeting with New Hampshire Young Democrats and a holiday party "to ring in the New Year and a New Congress!," both at the Millyard Museum in Manchester.
 

-Rep. Gephardt made a trip to NH on behalf of state Democrats on June 8-9, 2001.  On June 8 he was the featured speaker at the annual Cheshire County Democratic dinner in Keene.  On June 9 he appeared, with Gov. Jeanne Shaheen, at a Rockingham/Strafford County continental breakfast in Portsmouth; the Merrimack County Democrats' Annual Pig Roast & Pot Luck Picnic at the home of Beth Walz and Harry Judd in Bow (again w/ Shaheen); and the Manchester City Democrats' Flag Day Celebration at the Manchester Millyard Museum.
