Gephardt Receives Oklahoma Holiday Endorsements
Adds More Sooner State Supporters in Week
Six of “Ten Weeks ‘til Tuesday”
Washington, DC – Democratic presidential candidate Dick Gephardt today announced several new Sooner State Supporters, part of his “Ten Weeks ‘til Tuesday” effort, a running tally of Oklahoma supporters of his presidential campaign. Endorsements this week include State Representative Darrell Gilbert (D-Tulsa) and Rev. W.R. Casey, President of the Christian Ministers Alliance.
Gephardt, who visited Tulsa this past Saturday and will be back in Oklahoma December 27th and 28th, said that he was delighted to have these new endorsements for the holiday week. “I am so pleased to have the support of so many fine and dedicated Democratic activists and community leaders in Oklahoma. I look forward to being back in Oklahoma this weekend as we continue to build Sooner State momentum.”
“Ten Weeks ‘til Tuesday” builds on Rep. Gephardt’s already impressive
list of Democratic Party leaders and community activists that make up the
Gephardt Sooner State Supporters. Additional Sooner State Supporters
will be announced every Tuesday until Oklahoma Presidential Primary on
Tuesday, February 3rd. A complete listing of Gephardt's Sooner State Supporters
