-Sen. Graham visited Iowa on September 13, 2003.  He attended the Latin Festival at Merle Hay Mall in Des Moines; and attended the Harkin Steak Fry in IndianolaCounties: Polk, Warren.
 

--Gwen Graham Logan, the oldest of Bob and Adele Graham's four daughters, campaigned in Iowa for two weeks starting on September 12, 2003.  A few details...On September 12 she  had lunch at McNally Bake Shop and Luncheonette in Emmetsburg and campaigned at the Clay County Fair in Spencer.  On the afternoon of September 16 she made appearances at the Johnson County Senior Center in Iowa City; met Johnson County residents at Cottage Bakery and Café in Iowa City; toured the Uptown Bill Small Mall in Iowa City; and attended a Clinton County Democrats' Central Committee meeting at Clinton County Democratic headquarters in Clinton.

-Sen. Graham visited Iowa on September 5-7, 2003.  On the evening of September 5 he made a live appearance on Iowa Public Television's "Iowa Press."  On September 6 discussed education policy with teachers at Colosimo's Steaks and Chops in Des Moines.  On the evening of September 7 he attended the Dallas County Steak Fry on County Road R-30 in Bouton.   Counties: Polk, Dallas.
 

-Sen. Graham visited Iowa on August 29-September 1, 2003.
At mid-day on August 29 he did lunch and a roundtable discussion with farmers at The Country House Restaurant in Colo.  Later he met with Iowa State professor Neil Harl, an agricultural policy expert.
On August 30 he did a Workday (his 392nd) on the Middleswart Farm in Indianola.
On August 31 he flipped pancakes and met members of the labor community South Central Labor Pancake Breakfast in the 4-H Building at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.
On September 1 he marched in the Labor Day Parade and speak at the post-parade picnic in the 4-H Building at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.    Counties: Story, Warren, Polk.
 

-Sen. Graham and his family made a nine-day "Graham Family Vacation" RV tour around eastern Iowa from August 6-14, 2003. Aug. 6: Des Moines.  -  Aug. 7: Des Moines.  -  Aug. 8: Indianola, Lucas, Chariton, Lake Rathbun.  -  Aug. 9: Ottumwa, West Point, Ft. Madison, Burlington.  -  Aug. 10: Burlington, Mt. Pleasant, Eldridge.  -  Aug. 11: Quad Cities, Solon area.  -  Aug. 12: Calmar, Dyersville, Dubuque.  -  Aug. 13: Independence, Waterloo.  - Aug. 14: Des Moines.
On August 6 Graham marched in the Iowa State Fair Parade along Grand Avenue in Des Moines.
On August 7 Graham visited the Iowa State Fair; did a grand opening of his headquarters in Des Moines; and held a Grillin' with the Grahams event on the Terrace at Gray's Lake in Des Moines.
On August 8 Graham went to the National Balloon Classic in Indianola, where he went up in a tethered balloon; had lunch with Warren County Democrats at the Cottage Inn in Indianola; toured the John L. Lewis Labor Museum in Lucas; attended an ice cream social at the Lucas County Historical Museum in Chariton; and did a Grillin' with the Grahams event at Buck Creek on Lake Rathbun. 
On August 9 Graham did meet and greet with Ottumwa Democrats at the Country Junction Restaurant in Ottumwa; attended the Sweet Corn Festival at the Town Square in West Point; visited the Maize Maze in the Ft. Madison area; and attended the Des Moines County Democrats Steak Fry at the Port of Burlington in Burlington.
On August 10 Graham attended church services in Burlington; visited the Midwest Old Time Threshers' Heritage Museum in Mt. Pleasant; and did a Grillin' with the Grahams event at Scott County Park in Eldridge.
On August 11 Graham held an economic roundtable with activists in the Quad Cities area; and did Grillin' with the Grahams event at Lake McBride State Park four miles west of Solon.
On August 12 Graham toured the Dairy Center at Calmar; had lunch with Democratic activists at the Train Station in Calmar; participated in a family baseball game at the Field of Dreams in Dyersville; and did a Grillin' with the Grahams event at the campgrounds at Dubuque Yacht Basin.
On August 13 Graham went trout fishing; addressed the Iowa Federation of Labor at their convention at the Four Sullivan Brothers Convention Center in Waterloo and attended the subsequent reception; and did a Grillin' with the Grahams event at George Wythe State Park on Hwy 218 north of Waterloo.
On August 14 in Des Moines, Graham particpated in the Governor's Conference on Public Health at Drake University; and he attended an Iowa Cubs baseball game with Fergie Jenkins at Sec Taylor Stadium.

-Sen. Graham visited Iowa on August 1-3, 2003.  On August 1 in Sioux City he held an economic roundtable at The Daily Grind; appeared live on the 6 p.m. news on KTIV Channel; 4 and attended a dessert reception with the Truman Club at the home of Beth and David Noyse. 
On August 2 he did a workday (as a cook operator and a distillation operator) at Little Sioux Ethanol Plant on Hwy. 3 between Cleghorn and Marcus; and had dinner with beef producers and county leaders at the Kossuth County Fair, followed by meet and greet at the Kossuth County Democrats booth, in Algona
On August 3 he attended services at the First Congregational Church and then had coffee there; lunched with activists at Chandler's Restaurant in Mason City; met and greeted activists at Estelle and Ed Gabel's home at Mason City; and met and greeted activists at Bloomer's Cafe and Coffeehouse in Fort DodgeCounties: Woodbury, Cherokee, Kossuth, Cerro Gordo, Webster.
 

-Sen. Graham visited Iowa on July 19-20, 2003.  On July 19 in Des Moines he did a meet and greet with the Iowa Democratic Party; did a walking tour of the Farmers Market; and held an economic discussion over coffee at Java Joe's; in the early evening he attended the Knoxville Speedway Races at the Marion County fairgrounds.  On July 20 in Des Moines he taped "Face the Nation;" and attended services at St. Paul AME Church; he then attended the Madison County Fair at the fairgrounds in WintersetCounties: Polk, Marion, Madison.
 

-Sen. Graham visited Iowa on June 7-8, 2003.  On June 7 in Council Bluffs he attended a "Truman Fund" fundraiser at the home of Mike Gronstal; attended a Tom Harkin reception and then did the "Hear it from the Heartland" forum, followed by a media availability at Iowa Western Community College; and attended a Truman Fund fundraiser at Robert and Miriam Patterson's home in Ames.  On June 8 he attended the 4th Annual Vilsack/Pederson Family Picnic at the Old Threshers Grounds in Mt. Pleasant, then did activist meetings at the Java House in Iowa City and at Renaldo's Restaurant in Cedar Rapids.    Counties: Pottawattamie, Story, Henry, Johnson, Linn.
 

-Sen. Graham visited Iowa on May 16-17 and May 18, 2003.  On the evening of May 16 he attended the AFSCME reception at the Polk County Convention Complex in Des Moines.  On May 17 he spoke at the AFSCME town hall meeting, and attended the ISEA meeting at Adventureland Inn in Altoona.  He then proceded to events in Nebraska, returning on the morning of May 18 for breakfast at the home of Greg and Linda Steensland in Council Bluffs.   Counties: Polk, Pottawattamie.
 

-Sen. Graham visited Des Moines, Iowa on May 10-11, 2003.  On the evening of May 10 he attended the Polk County Democrats Reception and Dinner at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.  On May 11 he worked the lunch shift busing tables at the Drake Diner.   Counties: Polk.
 

-Sen. Graham visited Des Moines, Iowa on April 28-29, 2003.  Arriving around 11:30, he had lunch with IDP chair Gordon Fischer and executive director Jean Hessburg at the Embassy Club; met with Congressman Boswell; met with AP's Mike Glover; met with Des Moines Register's Tom Beaumont; and met with former IDP chair Sheila McGuire Riggs.  On April 29 he met with Mark Smith, president of the Iowa Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO; had lunch with the Register's Dave Yepsen; spoke to the Senate Caucus; spoke to the House Caucus; met with Gov. Vilsack and Lt. Gov. Pedersen; and attended a meeting of the Izaak Walton League.  Graham left on the morning of the April 30 without doing any further events.   Counties: Polk.
