-Sen. Edwards visited Iowa on December 29-31, 2003.
Starting at noon on December 29 he delivered a speech focused on the middle class at Creative Visions community center in Des Moines; met with Democratic activists at Newton Public Library; met with Democratic activists at The Crossroads in Toledo; met with Democratic activists at the Frank G. Ray House in Vinton; and met with Democratic activists at Waterloo Center for the Arts.
On December 30 he met with Democratic activists at Waverly Public Library; had coffee with Democratic activists at Country Cottage Café in Oelwein; met with Democratic activists at Pizza Ranch in Independence; attended a community gathering at Pizza Ranch in Manchester; met with Democratic activists at Elkader Public Library; and met with Democratic activists at The Opera House in Dubuque. 
On December 31 he met with Democratic activists at Riverside Restaurant in Clinton; and met with Democratic activists at The Friendly House in Davenport.

-Sen. Kerry visited Iowa with daughter Vanessa on December 29-31, 2003
On December 29 he held a discussion on clean air at Peoples Community Health Center in Waterloo; did an event with Democrats at Luigi's Restaurant and Lounge in Oelwein; an event with Democrats at City Hall in Waverly; and an event with Democrats at the Music Man Square Museum in Mason City.
On December 30 he did an event with Democrats at Waldorf College in Forest City; a press event on preserving family farms at home of Doug and Barbara Thompson in Kanawha; an event with Democrats at Sister Sarah’s in Algona; an event with Democrats at VFW Post 5240 in Dakota City; an event with Democrats at the American Legion in Fort Dodge; an event with Democrats at Greene County Community Center in Jefferson; and an event with Democrats at Sam’s Soda and Sandwiches in Carroll.
On December 31 he did an event with Democrats at Chuckwagon Restaurant at Bar L in Guthrie Center; an event with Democrats at Chatterbox Café in Audubon; an event with Democrats at The Community Hall in Council Bluffs; an event with Democrats at Janz Restaurant in Onawa; and a New Year’s Eve Party at Sioux City Community Theatre in Sioux City.

-Rep. Gephardt visited Iowa on December 29, 2003.  He met Democrats and rallied supporters at Moxie Java in Creston; met Democrats and rally supporters at the Red Oak Fire Station in Red Oak; met Democrats and rally supporters at Two Sisters & Me in Glenwood; and delivered a policy speech at the Iowa School for the Deaf in Council Bluffs.

-Rep. Gephardt visited Iowa on the morning and early afternoon of December 27, 2003, doing events in three counties.  He met Democrats and rallied supporters at VFW Post 5240 in Dakota City; met Democrats and rallied supporters at Clarion Chamber of Commerce in the Train Depot in Clarion; and met Democrats and rallied supporters at Garner Area Education Center in Garner.  [He then proceeded to Oklahoma].

-Gov. Dean visited Iowa on December 27-28, 2003, doing a series of "Caucus for Change" rallies. 
On December 27, 2003 he held a "Caucus for Change" rally at Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center in Waterloo; held a "Caucus for Change" rally at Kirkwood Training & Outreach Services Center; held a "Caucus for Change" rally at Fisher Community Center Auditorium in Marshalltown; held a "Caucus for Change" rally at Newton YMCA; and held a "Caucus for Change" rally at Lake Red Rock Cultural Center (formerly the Masonic Temple) in Knoxville.
On December 28 he attended Church at the Unitarian Church in Des Moines; attended a house party in Des Moines; held a "Caucus for Change" rally at Iowa State Center (Scheman Building) in Ames; a "Caucus for Change" rally at The Best Western in Ankeny; and a "Caucus for Change" rally and a free milkshake at Stella’s Blue Sky Diner in Urbandale.

-Rep. Gephardt visited 17 counties in northern and northwestern Iowa on December 21-23, 2003.
Starting early on December 21 he rallied supporters and met caucus-goers at six events: the Leonard A. Good Center in Ogden; UAW Local 442 in Webster City; Fort Dodge Senior Center in Fort Dodge; Algona Public Library in Algona; McNally's Bake Shop in Emmetsburg; and Wallingford Community Center in Wallingford.
Starting early on December 22 he rallied supporters and met caucus-goers at seven events: The Grill in Spirit Lake; Spencer Senior Center in Spencer; Chatauqua Park Shelter House in Storm Lake; Cherokee Community Center in Cherokee; Sheldon Community Building in Sheldon; Lally's East Side Restaurant in Le Mars; and Sanford Center in Sioux City.
Starting early on December 23 he rallied supporters and met caucus-goers at four events: Janz Restaurant in Onawa; LJ's Cafe in Woodbine; Harlan Community Library in Harlan; and Travelodge in Council Bluffs.

-Sen. Kerry visited Iowa on December 20-23, 2003; the theme of the trip is "Fighting for America's Workers."
On December 20 he held a "Conversation with Working Families" press event in Altoona; a "Very 'Kerry'" holiday party at Adventureland Inn in Altoona; an event with area Democrats at DMACC Newton Campus in Newton; and a holiday party at City High School Auditorium in Iowa City.
Starting late on the morning of December 21 he did an event with area Democrats at Happy's Place in Dubuque; a chili feed with firefighters at Village Hall in Davenport; and an event with Democrats at Bluff Elementary School in Clinton.
On December 22-23 he did a 26-hour day of visiting workplaces.  He started with a meeting at Quad City Times in Davenport; did an event at Mississippi Plaza in Davenport; visited the after school program at Waypoint in Cedar Rapids; visit Waterloo Fire Station #1 in Waterloo; did an event at the Floyd County Museum in Charles City; bowled at the Rose Bowl in Mason City; December 23; had a conversation with nurses at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines; visited workers at the Des Moines Register printing press; met and greeted snowplow workers, sewer and street cleaners at 318 5th Street, SE in Council Bluffs; breakfast with farmers at Oehler Brothers in Missouri Valley; focused on the child tax credit at Boys and Girls Club, Family Service Inc. in Sioux City; and, in a stop that was added on late, held a conversation with families of soldiers at Charlie's Restaurant, Holiday Inn in Sioux City.

-Sen. Edwards visited Iowa on December 19-21, 2003
On the evening of December 19 he taped Iowa Public Television's "Iowa Press" at Iowa Public Television Studios in Johnston. 
On December 20 he meet with Democratic activists at Pizza Ranch in Pocahontas; had coffee with Democratic activists at McNally's Bakery in Emmetsburg; met with Democratic activists at The Harvest Inn in Primghar; attended a community gathering at Orange City Library in Orange City; met with Democratic activists at Pizza Ranch in Rock Rapids; met with Democratic activists at Sibley Senior Center in Sibley; and attended a community gathering at the home of Dorothy Mergen in Estherville.
On December 21 he met with Democratic activists at Osage Public Library in Osage; campaigned in his 99th county this year and meet with Democratic activists at Sandy's Country Café in Cresco; and attended a "99 Counties to Victory" celebration at Community Savings Bank in Robins.

-Gov. Dean visited Iowa on December 19-20, 2003, holding a number of "Caucus for Change" rallies.  Early on the afternoon of December 19 he rallied at Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Burlington; [gap]; in the early evening he rallied at North High School cafeteria in Davenport.  On December 20 he held a pancake breakfast at Washington Middle School gymnasium in Clinton; a rally at Comfort Inn in Maquoketa; a rally at The Grand River Center in Dubuque; and headlined a fundraiser for state Senator Joe Bolkcom at the Old Brick Church and Community Center in Iowa City.

-Rep. Kucinich visited Iowa on December 18-20, 2003
On December 18 he walked through Mt. Vernon with Jonathan Meier and four others walking cross-country to promote the Kucinich campaign, starting at Big Creek Market and then giving a public talk at Cornell College Commons; visited Siemen's manufacturing company in Cedar Rapids; attended a holiday party at thecampaign's headquarters on 3rd Street  in Davenport; gave a public talk at Muscatine Books & More in Muscatine; gave a public talk at Washington Public Library in Washington; and attended a house party/fundraiser at the home of Jim Jacobson and Irene Friend in Coralville.
On December 19 he met and greeted area Democrats at Crossroads Restaurant in Toledo; did a lunch and discussion at the House of Chen Restaurant in Marshalltown; held a public meeting at Ft. Dodge Public Library; give a public talk at Algona Public Library; and gave a public talk at Rose Bowl bowling alley in Mason City. 
On December 20 in Des Moines he met local minority community leaders at Union Baptist Church; campaigned door to door with Ako Abdul-Samad, recently elected Des Moines School Board Member, in his neighborhood, around 12th and Forest; attended a labor brunch at Postal Worker's Hall; held a town meeting at Creative Visions; and visited the Islamic Center of Des Moines. 

-Sen. Edwards delivered what was billed as a major address on foreign policy at Des Moines Central Campus in Des Moines, Iowa on December 15, 2003.

-Sen. Kerry is visiting Iowa on December 13-15 and December 16, 2003, kicking off an "Rx for a Better America" tour; most travel done via the Real Deal Express bus. 
On December 13 he did an "Rx for a Better America" event at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids; an event for Rep. Mary Mascher at Kirkwood Community College in Iowa City; and an event with Democrats at the Center for Aging Services, Inc. in Davenport.
On December 14 he did a press conference at the Davenport Radisson Hotel in reaction to Saddam Hussein; held a live, unscripted and unedited town hall meeting with undecided Iowa caucus goers at WQAD Channel 8 News studios in Moline, IL (Quad Cities), broadcast on seven stations across Iowa; met local Democrats at Jerry's Restaurant in Mt. Pleasant; met local Democrats at Fairfield Public Library in Fairfield; met local Democrats at the Get-Togather Room in Bloomfield; and met local Democrats at the Continental Hotel in Centerville.
On December 15 he did an "Rx for a Better America" event at Donna's Place in Chariton; a Des Moines Register ed. board interview; and an "Rx for a Better America" event at Southside Senior Center in Des Moines.  [He then headed to Chicago for a series of fundraising receptions and overnights there].
On December 16 Sen. Kerry returned to Iowa from Chicago and spoke on foreign policy at Drake University in Des Moines.

-Rep. Kucinich visited Iowa on December 13-14, 2003
On December 13 he appeared at the Travelodge (Midlands Hostel) in Coucil Bluffs; at Two Sisters & Me in Glenwood; at Page County Courthouse in Clarinda; at the Apple Barn Restaurant in Lenox; at Inspiration Point Coffee House in Greenfield; at Hunan Restaurant in Carroll; and attended a house party at 423 Genesco St. in Storm Lake. 
On December 14 he did media during much of the morning; appeared at Danny's Sports Bar in Cherokee; appeared at Blue Bunny Ice Cream Parlor in Le Mars; and held a press conference on media reform at Briar Cliff University in Sioux City.

-Gov. Dean visited Iowa on December 12, 2003.  He held a "Caucus for Change" town hall meeting at Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs; held a "Caucus for Change" meeting with area residents at Madison County Historical Center in Winterset; held a "Caucus for Change" meeting with area residents at American Legion Hall in Indianola; met with community members at Creative Visions Human Development Center in Des Moines, hosted by Men of Vision; and attended the annual Iowa Democratic Holiday Party at Studio 55 in Des Moines.

-Gov. Dean held an endorsement event with former Vice President Gore in the Main Ballroom at the Crowne Plaza in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on December 9, 2003.  [This followed directly after Gore's initial announcement earlier in the day in Harlem, NY].

-Rep. Gephardt visited Iowa on December 7, 2003.  He met area Democrats at Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa; met area Democrats at Oskaloosa High School in Oskaloosa; met area Democrats at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum in Knoxville; and met area Democrats at the Warren County Administrative Building in Indianola.

-Rep. Kucinich visited Iowa on December 5, 2003.  He visited the University of Dubuque; rallied at Luther College in Decorah; held a public meeting at Two Brothers Restaurant in Oelwein; rallied at Wartburg College in Waverly; rallied at University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls; attended a minority leadership meeting at Waterloo Center for the Arts in Waterloo; and attended a house party fundraiser atUnitarian Universalist Society of Black Hawk County in Cedar Falls.

-Gov. Dean visited Iowa on December 5-6, 2003.  On December 5 he held five "Commit for Change" (C4C) rallies, meeting with area residents at Mason City Public Library; meeting with area residents at The RSVP Senior Center in Webster City; meeting with area residents at Des Moines Area Community College in Fort Dodge; meeting with area residents at Des Moines Area Community College in Boone; and meeting with area residents at Perry Elementary School in Perry.  On the morning of December 6 in Des Moines he joined Drake University students for a pancake breakfast at Hubbell Dining Hall. 

-Gov. Dean visited Iowa on December 2, 2003.  He held a discussion at IBEW Union Hall Local 405 in Cedar Rapids; met with area residents and asked them to "Commit for Change” and caucus, at Marshalltown Community College in Marshalltown; met with students and asked them to “Commit for Change” and caucus, at Veteran’s Memorial Building in Grinnell; and met with area residents and asked them to “Commit for Change” and caucus, at DMACC-Newton in Newton.

-Sen. Kerry visited Iowa on December 1, 2003.  He made remarks on Superfund and received the endorsement of Congressman Earl Blumenauer (OR-3) outside Iowa Illinois Manor (a designated Superfund site, is an apartment complex that was once a coal gasification plant) in Iowa City ; attended a Women for Kerry event at The History Center in Cedar Rapids; attended an event with students and Black Hawk County Democrats at University of Northern Iowa's Maucker Union in Cedar Falls; and spoke as part of the ongoing Speaker's Series at Iowa State University in Ames.

-Sen. Edwards completed his November 30-December 4, 2003 trip to Iowa.
On the afternoon of November 30 he signed copies of "Four Trials" at Prairie Lights Books in Iowa City; attended a fundraiser for State Rep. Ro Foege at Lincoln Cafe in Mt. Vernon; and met with Democratic activists at Colony Village Restaurant in Williamsburg.
Starting at mid-day on December 1 he held a roundtable discussion with Democratic activists at Downtown Deli in Davenport; met with Democratic activists at Salvatore Vitale's in Muscatine; met with Democratic activists at the home of Earlen Lekwa in Columbus Junction; met with Democratic activists at Steamboat Senior Center in Burlington; and met with Democratic activists at the home of Vicki Shepard in Keosauqua.

-Rep. Gephardt completed his November 29-December 1, 2003 trip to Iowa.
On November 29 he met local Democrats at the Holiday Inn in Davenport; met local Democrats at Riverside Cafe in Clinton; met local Democrats at the Community Center in Bellevue; and met local Democrats at UAW Local 94 in Dubuque. 
On November 30 he met local Democrats at Johnson's Supper Club in Elkader; met local Democrats at Manchester Public Library in Manchester; met local Democrats at Two Brothers Restaurant in Independence; met local Democrats at Waverly Public Library in Waverly; and met local Democrats at UAW Local 838 in Waterloo. 
On the morning of December 1 in Cedar Rapids he appeared at Waypoint Child Care Center, where local law enforcement officials, who are members of Fight Crime: Invest in Kids, encouraged him to support investments in children as a means to fight crime; and delivered a speech on homeland security at  the Police Station.
