Grucci's of New York will produce the fireworks.  They have produced the Inaugural fireworks since 1981.

A planned jump by the U.S. Army's parachute team, the Golden Knights, was cancelled to to the weather.  A planned Armed Forces Aerial Review flyover was likewise cancelled due to weather.  As announced on Jan. 17 this would have consisted of four Air Force F-16 Falcons, an Air Force B-2 Bomber, two Navy F/A 18 Hornets, three Marine Corps AV-8B Harriers and four Air Force F-15E Strike Eagles performing a missing-man formation.
