	March 31, 2004-Sen. Kerry spoke via satellite to several thousand state and local labor leaders gathered in Washington, DC for the Building and Construction Trades Department, AFL-CIO 2004 Legislative Conference. He was in Boston for a minor surgery. [last year's conference]
