By June 1 the Coordinated
Campaign had hired five regional field directors, 11 field organizers,
20 team leaders and 100 canvassers. The team leaders and canvassers
did door to door contacts starting at the beginning of June; each team
leader oversaw five canvassers. In its final configuration the campaign
had 16 regional field directors, 11 GOTV directors and 20 team leaders.

Jan. 18, 2004). After Iowa he ran Kerry's Green Bay office during
the Feb. 17 Wisconsin primary campaign.

Director
of GLBT outreach at the DNC starting July 14, 2003. Prior to joining
the DNC, Stern was Dorot Law Fellow at the Alliance for Justice (AFJ) in
Washington, D.C.; he worked on AFJ's Judicial Selection Project.
Stern earned his law degree from Northeastern School of Law, 2002.
While in law school he worked for the U.S. Department of Justice-Civil
Rights Division; the Whitman-Walker Clinic in Washington, D.C.; the Children's
Law Center, Inc.; and Human Rights Campaign (HRC). Stern earned his
B.A. from Marietta College (Ohio) where he led the College Democrats, and
volunteered on the 1994 and 1996 campaigns of Rep. Ted Strickland (D-OH)
as well as the 1996 Clinton/Gore campaign. He also interned for Project
Vote.
