-Robert Kennedy, Jr., Senior Counsel at the Natural Resources Defense Council and author of The Riverkeepers, led a group of prominent environmentalists to NH on December 10, 2003 in what the campaign dubbed the "Green Brigade."   They held a kick-off event at Rath and Young Law Firm in Concord, then split up.  RFK, Jr. and John DeVillars spoke with K-12 educators in the UNH ForestWatch program at the MUB in Durham.  Rep. Earl Blumenauer talked with environmental science students in the student center at Daniel Webster College in Nashua.  Teresa Heinz Kerry, Ken Berlin and Robert Sussman held a discussion on the environment and John Kerry's environmental record and ideas at Dartmouth College in Hanover.

-Sen. Kerry visited NH on November 18, 2003.  He participated in the AARP candidates forum at Wayfarer Inn in Bedford; and attended a chili feed at Hampton Fire House in Hampton.
 

-The Kerry campaign plans a major canvassing weekend on November 15-16, 2003, aiming to reach over 15,000 households.  Leading the effort will be Kitty Dukakis, Congressmen Barney Frank, Jim McGovern, and William Delahunt, and a group of Massachusetts state legislators.  The Manchester rally will even feature a Kerry Patriot on horseback.

-Sen. Kerry visited NH on September 1, 2003 to celebrate Labor Day.  He spoke at the annual AFL-CIO breakfast at the Chateau Restaurant in Manchester; visited Manchester firefighters on duty at 100 Merrimack; visited Manchester police on duty at 351 Chestnut Street; and marched with supporters in the annual Labor Day parade in Milford.
 

-Sen. Kerry visited NH on August 28, 2003.  He unveiled his national economic plan in a speech to the Whittemore School of Business at the University of New Hampshire in Durham; participated in an NH AFL-CIO presidential forum at SEIU Local 1984 in Concord; and that evening attended a house party at the home of Margie Ives in Derry. 
 

-Sen. Kerry visited Nashua, NH on the afternoon of August 23, 2003.  He  made a speech on his proposals regarding veterans to a group of veterans at the Purple Heart Memorial in Deschenes Oval Park and held an open house at his Nashua office on East Pearl Street.
 

-Sen. Kerry visited NH on August 6-9, 2003
On August 6 in the early evening he held a Fresh Air Forum at Victory Park in Manchester. 
On August 7 he spoke at the NEA-NH's annual summer conference at the Grand Summit Resort in Bartlett; did a downtown walk in Littleton; held a meet the candidate event at the Barge Inn in Woodsville; and held a Fresh Air Forum at Riverfront Park in Plymouth.
On August 8 he appeared on NHPR's The Exchange with Laura Knoy; did a downtown walk in Derry in the early afternoon; dined with firefighters at the Salem Fire Department headquarters; and attended a house party at the home of John and Sarah Pendleton in Nashua.
On August 9 he did a canvass kickoff at campaign headquarters in Manchester and some door-to-door canvassing joined by Congressman Jim McGovern (MA-3); and attended a house party at the home of Ann McLane-Kuster and Brad Kuster in Hopkinton.  Congressman John Tierney (MA-6) also helped out with canvassing, starting at the Dover office.
 

-Sen. Kerry visited NH on July 30-31, 2003.  On July 30 he  held a "Fresh Air Forum" at Hilton Park in Dover.  (The first of these summer park events was held in Lebanon at the end of June).  On the morning of July 31 he did a roundtable discussion with workers who are struggling in the Bush economy at 150 Dow Street in Manchester.  (This is a vacant, prime high tech space of about 23,000 square feet.  It was renovated in 2001 for a high tech firm to move in, but the high tech firm went bankrupt and never moved in and the space has been vacant since then).
 

-On July 26, 2003, Vanessa Kerry, one of Sen. Kerry's two daughters, and John Kerry's brother Cam and his family canvassed in Portsmouth, NH.
 

-Sen. Kerry visited NH on June 25, 2003.  He did a meet the candidate event at the Belknap Mill Art Gallery in Laconia and private meetings.  [A photograph of Kerry riding a motorcycle came out of the meet the candidate event: As Kerry was leaving, a man asked Kerry if he'd like to take a ride.  Kerry accepted].
 

-Sen. Kerry visited NH on April 25, 2003.  He attended a house party with Seacoast voters at the home of Ellen Bennett in Portsmouth; held a discussion with UNH students and area voters at UNH in Durham; and was the featured speaker at the Carroll County Democrats' Grover Cleveland Dinner in North Conway.
 

-Sen. Kerry visited NH on April 22, 2003.  Joined by Dennis Hayes, organizer of the first Earth Day in 1970, he spoke at an Earth Day celebration at the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests' Conservation Center in Concord and was the featured speaker at the Derry Democratic Committee fundraising dinner at VFW Post #1617 in Derry.
 

-Sen. Kerry visited NH on the afternoon of April 2, 2003.  He met with Peterborough area Democrats and Independents in a town hall style meeting at the Peterborough Town Library and participated in a roundtable discussion on access to the internet in rural areas at the Keene Public Library.
 

-Sen. Kerry visited NH on March 23, 2003.  He spoke at the Manchester City Democrats' St. Patrick's Day breakfast at the Tower Cafe, spoke to activists at Hermanos restaurant in Concord and attended a house party at the home of former state Rep. Mary Ouellette in Nashua.
 

-Sen. Kerry was the featured speaker at the Hampton Democratic Committee's Jefferson-Jackson Dinner at the  American Legion Hall in Hampton, NH on March 7, 2003.
 

-Sen. Kerry visited NH on January 10-11, 2003.  On January 10 he had lunch with Sen. Sylvia Larsen at her home in Concord; attended a house party hosted by Rep. Peter Burling at his home in Cornish; and did a meet and greet with Dartmouth students.  On the morning of January 11 he participated in the Waterville skiing rodeo, a charity event, at Waterville Valley Ski Resort.
 

2002: 6 visits, 6 days
-Sen. Kerry was the keynote speaker at the Granite State Chapter of the Association of the U.S. Army annual Soldier of the Year awards dinner at the Crowne Plaza in Nashua, NH on November 8, 2002
 

-Sen. Kerry visited NH on the afternoon and evening of October 20, 2002.  In Nashua, he attended a fundraising reception to benefit the New Hampshire Democratic Party at Rivier College and did a veterans event with Katrina Swett at the Purple Heart Monument; in Manchester, he joined a trolley ride with Lou D'Allesandro, starting at Chez-Vachon and concluding at Grand Slam Pizza; in Exeter, he attended a town Democratic committee Chili Party; finally, in Rye, he attended a fundraising reception for Martha Fuller Clark at the home of Bill and Cindy Thalheimer.
 

-Sen. Kerry visited NH on the afternoon and early evening of August 11, 2002.  He attended a Cheshire County Democratic Committee reception at the Democratic offices in Keene; appeared at an event for Dennis Kalob, candidate for the District 7 Senate seat, at the home of Chris Hamm in Hopkinton; attended a bbq/picnic for NHDP staff, canvass volunteers and activists at the home of Marilyn Hoffman in Londonderry; and concluded with a veteran's meet and greet with Lou D'Allesandro in Manchester. 
 

-Sen. Kerry visited NH on July 22, 2002.  He joined Martha Fuller Clark at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Manchester for the launch of her "Veterans for Clark Steering Committee" and did a prescription drug event with Katrina Swett at Nashua Senior Activity Center.
 

-Sen. Kerry campaigned with Martha Fuller Clark in Rye, NH on July 8, 2002.  They and a small group of business owners discussed the environment at the Seacoast Science Center at Odiorne Point.
 

-Sen. Kerry delivered the keynote address at the New Hampshire Democratic Party's annual 100 Club Gala in Concord, NH on March 2, 2002.  Earlier that afternoon he did a health care forum with Executive Council Candidate John Kacavas at the Father Burns Building in Manchester and visited with firefighters at Station 6 in Manchester. 

2001: 4 visits, 4 days
-On December 6, 2001, Sen. Kerry did a fundraiser for Manchester Democrats in Manchester, NH.
 

-On October 26, 2001, Sen. Kerry did a fundraiser for Manchester Mayor Bob Baines in Manchester, NH.
 

-Sen. Kerry keynoted the NH AFL-CIO convention in North Conway and was the special guest at the Merrimack County Democrats Harvest Dinner at Pembroke Academy in NH on October 13, 2001.
 

-Sen. Kerry did two events in NH on August 5, 2001, a meet-and-greet for state representative candidate Mary Tetreau at Marilyn Hoffman's house in Londonderry (Kerry revealed his poetic skills, reading a poem of his own composition) and a fundraiser for Manchester Mayor Bob Baines at Donna Soucy's house in Manchester.  [Tetreau lost the August 14 special election in a Republican stronghold by less than 300 votes].
