-Kerry and Edwards attend church at Greater Grace Temple in Springfield, OH.  (Clark County)
Kerry and Edwards speak during an impromptu stop at a parking lot in Springfield, OH.
-Kerry and Edwards rally at the corner of North Main Street and East Court in Bowling Green, OH.  (Wood County)
(Edwards splits off).
-BBQ and softball game at Heritage Park, Diamond 8 in Taylor, MI.   -Kerry played second base for a IAFF/firefighters team against a UAW/autoworkers team.  He went two for two with two singles.

-Unveils new book, “Our Plan for America,” and talks with firefighters at Grand Rapids Fire Department in Grand Rapids, MI.
-Attends a Believe in America rally at Calder Plaza in Grand Rapids, MI.

-Holds "Believe in America Economic Summit" at River Center in Davenport, IA.  -note President Bush was also in Davenport today.
Brief stops along the way: shakes hands in Grandview (Louisa County); greets supporters but no speech at headquarters at 100 North Fourth St in Burlington (Des Moines County); greets supporters but no speech at Riverview Park in Fort Madison (Lee County); and Keokuk, IA.
-Attends a Believe in America rally at the intersection of Main Street and Bird Street in Hannibal, MO.

Thurs. August 5, 2004
-Delivers Remarks at UNITY 2004: Journalists of Color Conference in Washington, DC.
-After their separate campaign swings, Kerry and Edwards re-unite and kick-off a five-day train trip to the West with a rally at historic Union Station in St. Louis, MO.
[The Kerry-Edwards special, a 15-car train headed by AMTK 138, a GE P42DC locomotive, included Pullman coach No. 403, used by Harry S Truman, Jimmy Carter, and Bill Clinton].
