LIEBERMAN CAMPAIGN ANNOUNCES "STUDENTS FOR JOE" NH STEERING COMMITTEE
Students From All Across the Granite State Support Lieberman for President!

MANCHESTER, NH - Joe Lieberman's New Hampshire campaign today announced the first wave of
"Students for Joe" - a steering committee of 34 students from colleges and universities all across the
Granite State supporting Lieberman for President and coordinating campaign efforts on their campus.

The students hail from a number of New Hampshire schools including:  University of New Hampshire -
Durham, University of New Hampshire - Manchester, Plymouth State University, Keene State College,
Dartmouth College, Emerson College, Franklin Pierce College, New England College and St. Anselm
 College.

"We're excited to receive this student support for Joe Lieberman here in the Granite State," said
Lieberman's NH State Director Peter Greenberger.  "It's fitting that as Joe Lieberman is gearing up to
participate in a debate focused on America's young people tonight, many young people here in New
Hampshire are gearing up to elect him the next President of the United States."

Lieberman will participate in CNN's "America Rocks the Vote: A Democratic Candidates Forum" tonight
in Boston, a town hall meeting comprised of and focused on young voters.

"Joe Lieberman is the candidate for me and for all young people," said Layne Weiss, a sophomore at
New England College, "because he will be a President who leads with integrity and takes our country in
 a positive direction."

"I'm proud to endorse Joe Lieberman for President," said Dan Sullivan, a senior at St. Anselm College.
"He cares about issues that are important to students and to all Americans - issues like the
environment, the economy and national security."
