| April 10, 2003--Lobbyist Tony Podesta showed up for Lieberman's announcement
of endorsements from eleven congressmen. According to a January article
in the Hartford Courant, "Lieberman reportedly was close to offering
a position to Tony Podesta," but some supporters were concerned about a
number of clients Podesta has represented. Podesta (not to be confused
with former White House chief of staff John Podesta) is co-chairman of
PodestaMattoon.
