State Director David Nassar
Most recently served as field director for Mark Fernald's 2002 campaign for Governor.  During the 2000 presidential cycle Nassar served as national field director of the Arab American Institute.  Previously he worked for the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs for five years focusing on democratic institutions in the Middle East.
 
 
Communications Director Matt Burgess
A New Hampshire native, Burgess returned to the state after serving as press secretary for two top tier congressional races in 2002, Lynn Rivers (MI-15) and Jill Long Thompson (IN-02).  Burgess served as press secretary for Martha Fuller Clark's 2000 campaign, deputy press secretary for Mike Easley for Governor in North Carolina and worked for Bill Bradley's presidential campaign in New Hampshire and at the national headquarters in New Jersey.
 
 
Events Director Heather Stone
Stone worked at the Turner Foundation where she managed an $8 million funding program.  She has also spent significant time in Texas politics working on health care legislation in the state legislature and on many state campaigns.  Stone worked for the Texas Freedom Network and co-ran her own political fundraising and event planning business.
 
 
Outreach Director John Thyng
Before joining New Hampshire for Health Care, Thyng, a Granite Stater for 25 years, served on the board of the State Employees' Association of New Hampshire, SEIU Local 1984.  At Local 1984, Thyng helped to manage the union's political program and organized the 2002 gubernatorial forums.  He has also worked a number of local campaigns and for the State of New Hampshire for eight years as a Technical Support Specialist.
 
 
Events Coordinator Siobhan Cornwell
Cornwell came to New Hampshire after working for Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington as a research associate in the development department.  She has also worked for the National Organization for Women where she assisted U.S. Rep. Chris Van Hollen's successful campaign in the eighth district of Maryland.  Cornwell is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin.
 
 
Regional Coordinator Dave McGonagle
McGonagle, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, most recently was field director in Minnesota's second congressional district for  the late U.S. Sen. Paul Wellstone's and former Vice President Walter Mondale's campaign for U.S. Senate.  McGonagle has also worked for Progressive Minnesota on an education initiative.
 
 
Regional Coordinator Brian Hawkins
Hawkins most recently worked as a field organizer for Mainers for Health Care and helped to win passage of universal health care legislation in the state of Maine.  In 2002 Hawkins served as a deputy field director for Chellie Pingree's Maine campaign for U.S. Senate and Warren Tolman's campaign for Governor of Massachusetts.  He has worked with the Democratic Congressional
 Campaign Committee and Bill Bradley's presidential campaign.
