Wes Clark's favorite Thanksgiving treat
The Clark campaign posted a Thankgiving message and recipe on its website:

Happy Thanksgiving from Little Rock! We send you our very best wishes as we prepare to spend the holiday with our family here in Arkansas. We are thankful for our many blessings, our family, our friends, and for our country. And we are especially thankful this year for Astrid Oviedo Clark, our wonderful daughter-in-law, who is expecting our first grandchild.

Setting traditions has been an important part of our lives in every community in which we have lived.  We have a traditional Thanksgiving meal, and we have always included people from the local community who did not have family nearby. Through all our moves, we certainly learned what it is like to be separated from family at the important holidays, and that's why we like to reach out to others.  Some of the most special Thanksgiving meals are those we shared with troops and their families in the base mess halls.

This year, we are very thankful for you and the other members of our extended family - our campaign staff, teams of volunteers and supporters across the country.  We've come an amazingly long way in these first months. Your enthusiasm, dedication, ideas and hard work have sparked, no, ignited, a nationwide movement!

Again, thank you for all of your support and hard work over the past few months.  It is an honor to represent you in this race to recapture America. We take your confidence most seriously.  As you work to elect Wes, we will work to help make your dreams for America become a reality.

We are truly grateful for all our many blessings, and you are among those.  Our wish for you is a truly wonderful Thanksgiving with those nearest and dearest to you.

With warm wishes,

Gert and Wes Clark
