An Oldtime Classic-The Waffle
Critics of Howard Dean, arguing that he is "just a typical politician -- adjusting his positions to find something politically popular," launched a "Waffle Powered Howard" website.  The waffle theme has also gone out on the streets; for example on October 3, 2003 at the DNC meeting in Washington, DC several young activists greeted arriving DNC members with "Waffle Powered Howard" flyers at the Woodley Metro station.  The waffle effort appears closely aligned with the Kerry campaign.
