Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) and his press
secretary Doug Gordon make their way through the media center. "John Kerry will win Ohio. He'll win by a couple points and the reason why is that there's going to be a late surge which will be the result of all the grassroots activities that are taking place. An unprecedented amount of grassroots activity on behalf of the Kerry-Edwards ticket is taking place in Cuyahoga County and a number of other population centers around the state. That grassroots activity will result in a bigger turnout, and the larger turnouts are going to go in favor of Kerry-Edwards. So I expect that it will result in changing a condition where four years ago Al Gore--whose campaign basically quit in Ohio but he still pulled to within three points. I see the momentum, the numbers changing, and victory." |
