Morrill has served as executive director of the Pennsylvania Consumer Action Network since its founding and was lead organizer of Unity 2000, a coalition of over 200 organizations that held a large march and rally on the eve of the 2000 Republican National Convention.  Running mate Vicki Smedley is immediate past president of the Pennsylvania Environmental Network.
