Columbia, SC, May 3, 2003--Rep. Dick Gephardt signs a tee-shirt for Diane Fox Prystowsky of Charleston. Below, Ryan Leveille of Charleston, Philip Lee of Charleston, and Sen. Ralph Anderson of Greenville man the Gephardt booth. | |
Sen. Ralph Anderson, who endorsed Rep. Gephardt in March, stated:
"Gephardt represents the things that will improve the quality of life in America. He can make a difference. He has a little bit of Clinton and he has a little bit of Gephardt and he has worked hard for education, for medical affairs, the environment, you name it, and the economy. "I've watched Gephardt, the congressman, for many, many years.
I just didn't decide this week to get on; I've talked with his staff periodically
for the last six months. I just like his philosophy and I know that
he can move America and create a different atmosphere...within our country."
