Columbia, SC, May 3, 2003--Sen. Joe Lieberman did not attend the meet and greet due to the Sabbath, but supporters including helped spread the word.  The woman in gray is Lieberman staffer Nadia Garnett (Southern political desk), and the woman in the red shirt is an alternate delegate from Charleston who lived in Connecticut for nine years before moving to South Carolina in 1995.  She lauded Lieberman as "the strongest person, the most moral person for the job" and said he would "get the message out in a positive, uplifting way for the whole nation to watch."
