Columbia, SC, May 2-4, 2003--In addition to the major events of the Dem Fest weekend, most of the candidates fit a few events of their own into their schedules, some of which are pictured here. 

-Gov. Dean visited SC on May 2-3, 2003.  On May 2 he attended the J-J Dinner and Jim Clyburn's Fish Fry.  On May 3 he attended the Democratic Women's Council Breakfast at Seawell's Restaurant; did the Meet and Greet at the State Fairgrounds; attended the SC DLC lunch; attended the Benedict Choir cookout; spoke at the Convention; and participated in the debate.

-Sen. Edwards visited SC on May 2-3, 2003.  On May 2 he stopped in at the J-J Dinner and attended Jim Clyburn's Fish Fry.  On May 3 he made a retail campaign stop at the Farmers Market in Columbia; did the Meet and Greet at the State Fairgrounds; spoke at the Convention; and participated in the debate. 

-Rep. Gephardt visited SC on May 2-3, 2003.  On May 2 he attended the J-J Dinner and Jim Clyburn's Fish Fry.  On May 3 he did the Meet and Greet at the State Fairgrounds; participated in the Town of Eastover parade; spoke at the Convention; attended the grand opening of the Gephardt for President headquarters; and participated in the debate.

-Sen. Graham visited SC on May 2-3, 2003.  On May 2 he attended Jim Clyburn's Fish Fry.  On May 3 he did the Meet and Greet at the State Fairgrounds; spoke at the Convention; and participated in the debate.

-Sen. Kerry visited SC on May 2-3, 2003.  On May 2 in Columbia he spoke at ceremony hosted by the South Carolina Combat Veterans Group at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial; did an economic event at Rosewood Elementary School; attended the J-J Dinner and Jim Clyburn's Fish Fry.  On May 3 he had breakfast with supporters at Clarion Town House; did the Meet and Greet at the State Fairgrounds; spoke at the Convention; and participated in the debate.

-Rep. Kucinich visited SC on May 3, 2003.  He spoke at the Convention and participated in the debate.

-Sen. Lieberman visited SC on May 2-4, 2003.  On May 2 he attended the pre-J-J Dinner Reception.  On May 3 he participated in the debate.  On May 4 he visited and spoke at Sunday Church Service at Morris Brown AME Church in Charleston.

-Amb. Moseley Braun visited SC on May 2-3, 2003.  On May 2 she attended the J-J Dinner and Jim Clyburn's Fish Fry.  On May 3 she attended the Democratic Women's Council Breakfast at Seawell's Restaurant; did the Meet and Greet at the State Fairgrounds; visited the C.A. Johnson Academy to speak at International Day; spoke at the Convention; and participated in the debate.

-Rev. Al Sharpton visited SC on May 3-4, 2003.  On May 3 he spoke at the Convention and participated in the debate.  On May 4 he preached at Greater St. Lukes Baptist Church and at Jones Memorial AME Zion Church in Columbia.
