Mike Huckabee and Forrest Wood joined Sheffield Nelson and Mike Freeze, Bush-Cheney '04 Co-Chairs of Arkansas "Sportsmen for Bush," to announce the Arkansas "Sportsmen for Bush" Leadership Team. -On May 27, 2004 in North Little Rock the campaign announced its Arkansas Viva Bush Team in an event featuring the Honorable Ruben Barrales, Bush-Cheney '04 State Co-Chair Bob Trevino, and local business owner Julio Ortega. Ephrain Valdez from Conway led this coalition. -Lynn Nash is a Bush-Cheney '04 Arkansas Educators for Bush steering committee chair. She has taught at all levels - from kindergarten through university. She has served as a magnet school program coordinator, elementary assistant principal, and principal of a middle school. -On May 12, 2004 at the state capitol in Little Rock Lt. Gov. Win Rockefeller joined Maj. Gen. William Page, (U.S. Army, Ret.) to announce the Bush-Cheney '04 Arkansas Veterans Leadership Team. "Veterans for Bush" Chairman initially was Nick Bacon, Director of the Arkansas Department of Veterans Affairs. Gary Heral of Little Rock succeeded him. -Social Conservatives - Betsy Hagan. President of Arkansas Eagle Forum. -On July 29, 2004 in Bowman, US Rep. Jo Ann Emerson (R-MO) joined Richard Bell, president and CEO of Riceland Foods and Bush-Cheney supporters to announce the “Farmers for Bush” Leadership Team. Dotson Collins chaired this coalition.
