Executive Director  Jon Seaton
Joined the campaign in March after serving as a field representative at the National Association of Realtors®.  Previously Seaton worked at the National Republican Congressional Committee and in the first part of 2002 he managed John Redwine's primary campaign in Iowa's 5th CD.  He worked on the field teams of the National Federation of Independent Business and Associated Builders and Contractors.  Graduate of the University of Colorado.
 
 
Communications Director Leah Yoon
Joined the campaign from the office of New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.  She also served on Mayor Bloomberg's 2001 campaign.  Yoon attended Columbia's School of International and Public Affairs and Julliard.
 
 
Coalitions Director Mark Szymanski
Prior to the campaign Szymanski worked for Stateside Associates, a DC-area government relations firm.  He has experience in New York state politics, and graduated from Binghamton University.
 
 
Events Director Tara Conrad
First paid position on a campaign; started out as a volunteer.  Graduate work in chemistry at University of Washington.

4th and 5th CDs - Thomas (Tom) Roberts
First field rep on the ground, Roberts had extensive grassroots experience as a field organizer for the College Republican National Committee.  In the 2003 Mississippi governor's race he implemented the 72-hour plan for targeted counties.  Graduate of Washington State.

6th and 9th CDs, minus King County but including all of Thurston - Ryan Krabill
Worked in the office of the U.S. Senate Sergeant-at-Arms.  Interned in the office of Rep. Greg Walden (R-OR).  Two years in sales in California.  Bachelors' degrees in business and biology from Westmont College in Santa Barbara.  Originally from Albany, Oregon.

2nd and 3rd CDs, except Thurston - Don Povia
Came to the campaign from Stateside Associates.  A recent graduate of the George Washington University's Graduate School of Political Management, Povia obtained his undergraduate degree from Monmouth College in New Jersey.

King County - Jennifer Williams
An intern at the Bush-Cheney office in Arlington before joining the field team in Washington State.  Williams is a former White House intern and a recent graduate from Georgetown University.
 

-Bush-Cheney ’04 Washington “Veterans for Bush” Leadership Team - Chair is Medal of Honor Recipient General Pat Brady, USA (Ret.) and co-chair is Veteran Larry Stiles, USMC.  (announced June 16, 2004)

-Bush-Cheney '04 Washington Natural Resources Team - Co-chairs are Gary Smith and Bob Jirsa.  (former EPA Administrator Governor Christie Todd Whitman, Washington State Senator Daniel Swecker and Washington House Minority Leader Richard DeBolt announced in Lacey on April 29, 2004)  Smith is founding partner and president of the Gallatin Group and heads the Seattle office of the public affairs, government relations and strategic communications consulting firm.  Jirsa is director of corporate and environmental affairs for Plum Creek Timber Co.

-Bush-Cheney '04 Washington Farm & Ranch Leadership Team - Co-chairs are Brenda Alford and Mike Poulson.  (announced in Wapato on April 13, 2004)  Alford is from Alford Farms, Inc. of Pasco and Poulson is a farmer and consultant from Connell.

-Sportsmen for Bush - Ed Owens.  Owens is executive director of the Coalition of Coastal Fisheries, which represents commercial fishing fleets.  In 2000 he chaired Citizens for Responsible Wildlife Management, the group that opposed I-713, the ballot measure banning trapping.

-Hispanics/Viva Bush - Pedro Celis.  Celis is a software architect in the SQL Server group in Microsoft.  Chairman of the Washington State Chapter of the Republican National Hispanic Assembly, which he helped found in 2001.  Member of the President’s Information Technology Advisory Committee, nominated by President Bush in 2003.  Moved to Washington State from Texas in 1998 and resides in Redmond.  Born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico.

-W Stands for Women - Sarah Rindlaub and Jean Dunbabbin.  Rindlaub is a board member of Washington Policy Center, a free-market think tank in Seattle.  She worked for 16 years in the airline industry.

-Asian-Americans for Bush - Clayton Fong.  Fong is executive director of the National Asian Pacific Center on Aging (NAPCA), headquartered in Seattle.  He held a number of senior management positions at the White House in the Administration of President George H.W. Bush and with California Gov. George Deukmejian.  B.A. from UC Berkeley, 1982.

-Social Conservatives: Pastor Joe Fuiten.  Senior Pastor of Cedar Park Assembly of God in Bothell, Washington since 1981.  President of Washington Evangelicals for Responsible Government, a 501(c) 4, non-profit lobbying organization which provides a Biblically oriented lobbyist to the state legislature in Olympia.  Convener of Positive Christian Agenda, a coalition of more than 30 Christian organizations that coordinate political action in Washington State.  Doctor of Ministry degree from Northwest Graduate School of the Ministry, 1995.  B.A. in political science from Willamette University; he was elected chairman of the College Republicans of Oregon.  Fuiten's mother and father who were both Assemblies of God ministers.  See: Nina Shapiro "Evangelize the Vote."  Seattle Weekly, Nov. 17-23, 2004.

Re-elected chairman, January 2003.  Served on the King County Council, 1994-2001.  Served in the state House of Representatives for the 31st Legislative District, 1991-93.  After college he worked for then-Congressman Rod Chandler, and as a research analyst with the Washington State Senate.  BA in Political Science from Western Washington University, 1984.

(Since May 2001)  Abbarno served as executive director of the Vermont Republican Party in the 2000 cycle.  Previously he worked as media and policy coordinator for Republicans in the New York State Assembly.

Political Director/Victory Director Mike Sheridan
Sheridan has served as political director since September 2003 after serving as a consultant to the WSRP in 2002.  In 2001 he worked as an legislative assistant to Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) and as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Legislation and Congressional Affairs at the U.S. Department of Education before returning to Washington State.  He worked as an aide to Sen. Slade Gorton (R-WA) from 1994-2000 and worked on Rep. Rick White's (WA-01) campaigns in 1996 and 1998, and as Gorton's field director on his 2000 campaign.
