M. Menino, and in that position she organized Boston's bid for the 2004
Democratic National Convention. Burns has previously served as the
Director of Special Projects and Special Assistant to Debra DeLee, CEO
of the 1996 Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Ill.. She
is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia
and a native of Lowell, Massachusetts.
