State Director Rodney E. Shelton
(announced June 21, 2004, arrived in state later that week)  Before joining the campaign Shelton worked in Washington, DC for America Coming Together.  In fall 2000 he served as North Carolina State Director for the Gore-Lieberman campaign and in 1996 he was an assistant Southern regional director for Clinton's re-election campaign.  He has worked for the U.S. Department of Transportation, the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs and the Democratic National Committee.  He attended both the University of Central Arkansas in Conway and Philander Smith College in Little Rock.

Worked as a spokesman at the U.S. Department of Education during the Clinton Administration.

Director Michael Cook
Executive director of the party starting March 1, 2001.  A veteran of Arkansas politics at all levels, having worked on over twenty campaigns.  Founded Advantage Strategies, a consulting firm, in 1999, after serving as a political consultant for Southern Strategy Group.  Started in politics in as a college student on then-Governor Clinton's presidential campaign in Sept. 1991 New Hampshire and in the headquarters in Little Rock.  Bachelor's degree in history from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock; a veteran of the United States Army Reserves.
Political Director Tamika Edwards
(from July 2004)  Prior to joining the coordinated campaign (and afterwards) Edwards worked for Sen. Blanche L. Lincoln.  B.A. in English from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and M.A. in professional and technical writing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.  Native of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Field Director Bruce Sinclair
Worked the Musgrove gubernatorial campaign in Mississippi in 2003, the Landrieu U.S. Senate runoff, and the 2002 South Carolina coordinated campaign.  Graduate of the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC with a degree in sociology.
Deputy Field Director Susan Altrui
Worked for Gen. Wesley Clark's campaign as national volunteer coordinator, doing both online grassroots organizing and organizing volunteers in the early primary states.  Graduate of Arkansas State University.  Native Arkansan.

Base Vote Director Milton Ezell
Served as director of community outreach to Congressman Mike Ross, working out of his Pine Bluff office, starting in early 2003.  Worked in the Community Service Division of the DNC.  Attended Philander Smith College.  Native of McGehee, Arkansas.
