-Robert Kennedy, Jr., Senior
Counsel at the Natural Resources Defense Council and author of The Riverkeepers,
led a group of prominent environmentalists to NH on December
10, 2003 in what the campaign dubbed the "Green Brigade."
They held a kick-off event at Rath and Young Law Firm in Concord, then
split up. RFK, Jr. and John DeVillars spoke with K-12 educators in
the UNH ForestWatch program at the MUB in Durham. Rep. Earl Blumenauer
talked with environmental science students in the student center at Daniel
Webster College in Nashua. Teresa Heinz Kerry, Ken Berlin and Robert
Sussman held a discussion on the environment and John Kerry's environmental
record and ideas at Dartmouth College in Hanover.

9-10, 2003. On the evening of December 9 he attended a
pre-debate rally with supporters at Parking Lot A and participated in the

He participated in the AARP candidates forum at Wayfarer Inn in Bedford;
and attended a chili feed at Hampton Fire House in Hampton.
-The Kerry campaign plans a major
canvassing weekend on November 15-16, 2003, aiming to reach over
15,000 households. Leading the effort will be Kitty Dukakis, Congressmen
Barney Frank, Jim McGovern, and William Delahunt, and a group of Massachusetts
state legislators. The Manchester rally will even feature a Kerry
Patriot on horseback.
-Sen. Kerry visited NH on November 12-13, 2003.
On November 12 he did a nature walk along the Merrimack River with New
Hampshire environmental leaders starting near St. Francis of Assisi Church
and School off Charles Bancroft Highway in the Litchfield (greater Manchester)
area; appeared on the Dan Pierce Show on WGIR Radio in Manchester; and
did meet and greet on Elm Street in Manchester. On November 13
he held a press conference on clean air and energy efficiency at
Franklin Pierce Law Center in Concord; and did meet and greet at Veano’s

is scheduled to visit NH on November 11, 2003 to participate

Chris Heinz are visiting NH on October 16-18, 2003 as part
of their Dorm Storm tour. On October 16 Vanessa Kerry will
make stops at Central High School in Manchester; Raymond Hill High School
in Raymond; Wheelock Terrace Assisted Living in Hanover; and she and Chris
Heinz will do a couple of events at Dartmouth. On October 17
Kerry and Heinz will appear at St. Paul's School in Concord; Spaulding
High School in Rochester; Dover High School; and wrap up with a UNH happy
hour at Murphy's Tin Palace in Durham. On October 18 Kerry
and Heinz will attend a brunch with PSU Students for Kerry at Fracher's
in Plymouth; stop in at the PSU homecoming football and field hockey games;
and do a meet and greet at Strange Brew in Manchester.

as part of his formal announcement tour. He, wife Teresa, their children
and Kerry's Vietnam crewmates arrived at Manchester Airport; he met with
half a dozen unemployed New Hampshire residents at Mary Ann's Diner in
Derry to talk about how the economy's downturn has affected their lives;
spoke to supporters at a rally outside of his state headquarters in Manchester;
Kerry wife Teresa, their children, the Vietnam crewmates and some 300 supporters
then boarded buses to "Kerry-Van" from Manchester to Boston, where Kerry
formally announced his candidacy at Faneuil Hall.
-Sen. Kerry visited NH on
September 1,
2003 to celebrate Labor Day. He spoke at the annual AFL-CIO breakfast
at the Chateau Restaurant in Manchester; visited Manchester firefighters
on duty at 100 Merrimack; visited Manchester police on duty at 351 Chestnut
Street; and marched with supporters in the annual Labor Day parade in Milford.
-Sen. Kerry visited NH on
August 28,
2003. He unveiled his national economic plan in a speech to the
Whittemore School of Business at the University of New Hampshire in Durham;
participated in an NH AFL-CIO presidential forum at SEIU Local 1984 in
Concord; and that evening attended a house party at the home of Margie
Ives in Derry.

August 23, 2003. He made a speech on his proposals
regarding veterans to a group of veterans at the Purple Heart Memorial
in Deschenes Oval Park and held an open house at his Nashua office on East

On July 30 he held a "Fresh Air Forum" at Hilton Park in Dover.
(The first of these summer park events was held in Lebanon at the end of

workers who are struggling in the Bush economy at 150 Dow Street in Manchester.
(This is a vacant, prime high tech space of about 23,000 square feet.
It was renovated in 2001 for a high tech firm to move in, but the high
tech firm went bankrupt and never moved in and the space has been vacant
since then).

26, 2003, Vanessa Kerry, one of Sen. Kerry's two daughters, and John
Kerry's brother Cam and his family canvassed in Portsmouth, NH.
-Sen. Kerry visited NH

at the home of Bob and Jen Lucic in Concord and at the Reische home in
Manchester. On July 9 he spoke on homeland security to the
Professional Firefighters of New Hampshire Executive Council meeting at
McGuirk's Hotel and Restaurant in Hampton; then in Nashua he discussed
his health care plan at Nashua Public Health Department; did a retail politics
tour of City Hall; and did a meet the candidate event at the Legion Hall.

On July 1 he held a meet the candidate event hosted by Somersworth Chamber

and received the endorsement of Martha Fuller Clark at press conference
in front of the Old North Church; and attended a meet the candidate event
hosted by Fisher Scientific in Hampton. On July 2 he went live from
11:15 to 11:30 am on "Open Mic with Dan Mitchell," WKBK radio, 1290 AM,
in Keene; and in the evening he attended an open house at headquarters
on McGregor Street in Manchester.
-Sen. Kerry visited NH on June 25, 2003.
He did a meet the candidate event at the Belknap Mill Art Gallery in Laconia
and private meetings. [A photograph of Kerry riding a motorcycle
came out of the meet the candidate event: As Kerry was leaving, a man asked
Kerry if he'd like to take a ride. Kerry accepted].
-Sen. Kerry visited NH on June 18-19, 2003.
On late afternoon and evening of June 18 he did meet the candidate events
at Colburn Park in Lebanon and at Kendal Retirement Community in Hanover.
On June 19 he did a meet the candidate event at the Newport Library Arts
Center in Newport; a speech about the economy, hosted by the Concord Chamber
of Commerce, at the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord; and a house
party at the home of Scott and Judy Brody in Windham.

to debate and voting on the tax bill scheduled for the next day in the
Senate.
-Sen. Kerry visited NH on May 19, 2003.
He announced his national service proposal at the Sweeney American Legion
Post in Manchester, and spoke on national service at St. Paul's School
in Concord and at the installation of the post commander of American Legion
Post 63 in Salem.

at the Franklin Pierce Law Center graduation ceremonies at White Park in
Concord,
NH on May 17, 2003.

May 3, 2003 the campaign did its first door to door canvass, with volunteers
talking to targeted voters about Kerry in Manchester, Portsmouth, Nashua,

Derry.

and early evening of August 11, 2002. He attended a Cheshire
County Democratic Committee reception at the Democratic offices in Keene;
