Nader Ballot Access
Nader supporters established the Populist Party, a "limited political party" which "organizes for the purpose of selecting candidates for electors for President and Vice President of the United States."  [AS 15.60.010(13) and 15.30.025]  This required submission of 2,878 valid signatures by August 4.  The campaign submitted signatures on August 4 and the Division of Elections verified more than 3,000 signatures on September 2.

July 21 - Meeting with volunteers, book signing at Electica.  Media interviews.  Dinner with Jim Sykes, Green candidate for U.S. Senate, at Organic Oasis.  Speech and rally at First United Methodist Church auditorium.
