On December 4, 2002, Sen. Kerry filed papers with the FEC establishing
John Kerry for President Inc., an exploratory committee. James M.
Jordan served as the national campaign manager through November 9, 2003;
he was replaced by Mary Beth Cahill, who previously served as chief of
staff to Sen. Edward Kennedy.

President Clinton in 1996 and Vice President Al Gore in 2000.Co-chaired
the Rules Committee for the 1992 Democratic National Convention.
Executive Director and Chairman of the Ohio Democratic Party from 1983
to January 1991 (led the party when Ohio Democrats held both U.S. Senate
seats, a majority of the seats in Ohio's U.S. House Delegation, the offices
of Governor, Lt. Governor, all statewide Constitutional Offices and a majority
in the Ohio House of Representatives). Came to Ohio for McGovern,
and never left.

to the campaign from her position as Field Director for the Ohio Democratic
Party. Prior to that she was Central Ohio Regional Policy Coordinator
for the American Lung Association's Tobacco Free Ohio campaign. Dickerhoof
graduated from Ohio University in Athens with a degree in Political Science;
she was president of the OU College Democrats.
