	Columbia, SC, May 3, 2003--A Sharpton aide helps set up prior to the speeches; below, a supporter hands out signs. Also helping out, but not pictured, was William J. Simmons, Sr., a gulf war veteran living in Columbia. Asked why he supports Sharpton, Simmons stated, "I agree with a lot of his civil rights stances, for one. He's not the only candidate that I like. I like Sharpton. I like Kerry because of his stance for veterans."
